The school is quite alive to its responsibility of inculcating leadership qualities among students. The students are thus trained to shoulder positions of responsibility. There are School Appointments; House Appointments; Class Appointments; etc.. The class monitors perform duties assigned to them by the class teachers. Likewise bus monitors look after discipline in the school buses. School Prefects and House Prefects work in the various School Committees, hold periodical meetings regarding welfare measures to be taken for the school community. The Head Boy, Head Girl, Games Captains and other Prefects are appointed by the Principal, from amongst those, who show qualities of leadership.
